Born to Greek parents in South Africa, I bring a unique blend of cultures and a passion for language and making a positive impact in people's lives that will support you in becoming a confident and successful English communicator.

My Mission: 

To transform your English skills through high-quality, personalised online lessons designed to meet your unique needs and goals.

In fact, here are a few ways I can help.

  • Want to speak and write effectively? I’ll give you the essential tools to express yourself clearly and effectively
  • Feel nervous about presenting at an important meeting or conference? I’ll help you find your English voice and make an impact.
  • Looking to easily meet and connect with new people or pass that English exam? I’ll work with you to boost your English skills and to succeed in the exam.

With 20 years of experience in teaching and learning, I understand the challenges of mastering a new language while managing a busy life. My background in business, psychology and education, and learning languages myself, combined with my experience teaching many different people, shapes how I help you communicate, connect, and succeed in a diverse and changing world.

Where my teaching passion began

My teaching journey began as a temporary job in the beautiful landscapes of Greece. It soon became a lifelong passion. I taught English to many different learners—from eager teenagers and university students to ambitious professionals. These experiences were not just about preparing for English exams; they were about opening doors to new opportunities. Teaching allowed me to connect with my students, helping them reach their goals while we learned and grew together.

Making an impact in South Africa

Returning to South Africa, I continued to impact many lives at one of the country’s top universities. I continued on my learning and growth path and obtained the prestigious CELTA certificate. I expanded my expertise to include Medical English and customised English programmes for various government departments and corporate clients in the telecommunications, finance, and hotel industries.

One of my proudest achievements was witnessing three of my students from a youth programme start their own teaching careers. Knowing that my efforts have not only helped individuals improve their English skills but also inspired some to pursue careers in education fills me with pride.

Recognised for my dedication, I was promoted to department manager and later also  led the Teacher Training department. I managed important projects funded by donors to create impactful programmes for mainstream and Deaf school teachers, as well as high school students in Johannesburg's townships. The programmes ran in five provinces in South Africa and even in the DRC, making real differences in communities.

Encouraged by a visionary leader, I continued my own education at the University of Sydney and completed my Master’s in Education. My time in Australia was not just about studying. It was a rich experience where I met interesting people from different countries, which helped me grow and see the world in new ways.

A new chapter

Change is inevitable, but my love for discovery and learning, and my commitment to making a difference, stay the same. I am continuing my path as an educator and now as an entrepreneur, and I’m excited for us to learn, connect and spark a change in the way you communicate.
